How often? A. every_ _ months?_ _ years?or longer? B. until it died and giving battery code? i would pick ?B. i used to change one a year and then every 3-4 years! lol..i just did battery's today i checked the voltage and i still got 1.47V all 3 even reading..huh..next time I'll leave them it until then? :88- Title: Re: How often do you change your 3 AA battery?your pin machine Post by: cfh on August 09, 2009, 09:29:10 AM Change the batteries with the game ON and you don't
loose any settings! Also i remote mount all pinball batteries. this way if they leak you ruin a $5 battery holder instead of a $300 CPU board. And then changing the batteries is less of an issue. the batteries are find as long as they are A) not leaking B) 1.2 volts each or greater. A lot of people recommend changing the batteries yearly, because leakage is the biggest issues. and $2 worth of batteries changed every year is good insurance. but i have so many games i let it go a lot longer. And again, they are all remote mounted. I have never had any issues. I change the batteries with the game on and never lose my settings as noted above. Does anyone have a Lethal Weapon 3 for sale ?

That is great info,i never thought about that leave the machine on while changing batteries! :131- remote mount batteries is a good idea! i might have one laying around??next project..! :89- i hardly seem battery leak around here?
