Title: Repeat bet
Post by: jstraa on August 12, 2009, 04:15:15 PM
Hi,

In my s2000 it's possible to do a repeat bet (when holding the spin or max bet button)
But on my S+ this isn't possible. (but it is at the local casino!) I was thinking of puttin some kind of electronical component in
between of the switch and the main board that switches off and on all the time. (maybe a blinking LED or something else).
But I have to know this first, is the one click in the software OR in the switch. I think it's in the S+ software because
when I hold my "one bet" button it counts up without lifting my finger. Any comments and ideas are very welcome!

Thanks,

Jeroen

Your local casino still has S+ machines?  Neat.

I know certain SP chips allow the "Spin Reels" button to also serve as a "Repeat the last Bet" button.  I don't think that you can just hold the button down and it'll keep spinning, though.  I could be mistaken and welcome any correction from anyone else.

I used an SP1137 on a game that would allow to just lay on the spin reels button and it would spin on forever

I stand corrected then.  1137 is the one I was thinking of where the spin reels would repeat the bet -- I didn't think you could just sit on the button but now I know.

Yes they still have S+ machines, most of them are sitdowns, with titles like double diamond, balloon bars and some RWB with progressives.
My idea was not using the SP1137 but trying to modify the machine (button) that it sends pulses when it's pushed I think that's a way to simulate
it being pressed all the time. But maybe I'm just having one of my weird ideas!
