Im sure they work the same,

I think the manual you are looking for is the SLANT field service manual. Not having a slant myself I have never snagged a copy but I believe it covers off some of the mounting issues for the monitor and coin elevators that don't exist with the upright. If you have any specific questions please post and I am sure someone will respond quickly. The MPU board tray for the slants are also a bit different. They have wider metal wings on them and they won't slide into my upright in their native state. I take the board off, then use a angle grinder to get rid of the wings and then they fit fine.
