Title: DIY LCD Kit info needed Post by: MrBellMan on August 15, 2009, 09:43:40 PM Hi all,
I came across this LCD/Touch screen kit (see pics) and was curious to know if anyone has any info on it? It appears to be home made and complete, but I'm not sure how I would plug it into one of my I Games (19 pin). I know nothing about this and I'm mot even sure if it works. Anyone have any info on the pin outs or info at all? Thanks, Rob Title: Re: DIY LCD Kit info needed Post by: MrBellMan on August 15, 2009, 09:44:06 PM Two more pics...

Since I have nothing to plug it into (matching plug wise), I'm not sure if it will power up or not. I was hoping someone recognized the hardware and would be able to tell me how to change the pin configuration or perhaps have an adapter for an I-Game 19 pin. a standard VGA (pin outs can be obtained from the net), I would remove the cable that is there and make my own. I believe that this monitor is powered via external DC power supply, (12V DC or 24V DC) which looks like it is to the right of the touch screen board, (check + and -). The 2 wires coming from the touch screen assembly you will find are tapping into 12V at some point on the board. I will have a really good look around and see what else I can find there seems to be no service info on this model. I test all of my LCD's using a VGA cable that is run off my computer, and have at least 2 power supply units always on.
