Title: Hi there!
Post by: coinop on August 16, 2009, 07:17:14 PM
New to the forum so I thought I would stop in and say hello... "hello". I am a coin op addict. If it takes coins I want it or at the mimimum want to take it apart to see how it works. I do consulting work for the coin op industry and a few others. Site seems loaded with great information. See you all around.

Welcome CoinOp  :88-  It sounds like you're our kind of guy, and you've already progressed far enough into your addiction to be beyond traditional help. Of course, we offer a different kind of help here, as none of us want to be cured. :5- :97- :97-

But the best thing about it is watching someone enjoy the crap out of it when it's working exactly the way you want it to! :71-
All you do is stand there with your hands on your hips and beam at the great job you did! :89- :89- :89-

I find it amusing when something works and there are a few parts left over!  :97-

I have a very large bucket full of screws that were left over from jobs, how does that happen ?

I don't know, but it happens to all of us. Screws are bad enough, but sometimes one has odd-shaped ends left over. :5- (or are they end-shaped odds? :128-)  It makes one wonder what all those pesky extra parts were doing in there in the first place!  :72- :72-

I have a larger bucket of unknown parts that belong somewhere, and I might find where they belong someday

Either that, or eventually you'll end up with enough parts to build another machine. Just ask Stout (stayouttadabunker). :79- :97-
