Title: how do you keep track of all your passwords?
Post by: SAT (aka GANDHI) on September 30, 2008, 05:56:11 PM
Was just wondering how people manage their passwords for web accounts.  I currently have about 60 to manage and have found KeePass to be a good solution to securely keep them in one place.    http://keepass.sourceforge.net/   It's free, open source and secure.  Any other solutions?

I use a biometric solution.  That way I can have safe passwords and not have to remember any.

A simple pad of paper works for me.  I keep a backup of it in the safe just in case.

Why not just keep them all in a file (say excel) and save that file with the 16 bit password, then you only have one password to worry about.           60 passwords....................................... :25- :25- :25- :25-  I operate with 3 only, thats the banking online 2 accounts, and the rest of the forums I am in are all the same. Changing every couple months on some of them as I have dodgy mates who like to send crap messages sometimes.

cheers
