Post by: riocarnaval on September 19, 2009, 06:10:58 AM
I don't know how it happened but the game software CD is damaged. I didn't have a backup of the CD "Inspector Winmore" .. What would you guys suggest me?

I'd see if the seller had a back up copy first...they might just have one!

Hey, can you post a picture of your game/machine for us to drool over on? :184- :183-

If the CD has scratches, or blemishes on it, I have used a CD "Repair kit" with success to restore Data CD's or CD's themselves. It made an "unreadable" Disc readable again. Might be worth a shot. Most Target stores, Radio Shack, etc have them around $10 I think.

Blockbuster offers a professional repair service for about $2.50

I have tried some of those products to try to restore the cd.  Out of about 50 maybey 4 or 5 made it but still worth the effort.  Best to try and get the back-up or another orginal.
