Title: splus cashout button
Post by: L L Pippin9 on September 21, 2009, 12:41:33 PM
the cashout button goes out when machine is turned on and off, when you use a coin and hit something it pays the coins and does not go to credit until button is lit,   how do I set it to turn on the cashout button when a coin is used, and not a dollar,?

If the "Cash/Credit" button does not light up until you get a winner,
that means the option setting is set that way.
You can change it to "manual" setting by opening the door
Pressing the little white "Test" switch until you see a [2] in the "Winner Paid" window
Turn the "Reset" key until you get a [5-0],[5-1] or a [5-2].
Depending on which chip you have in the machine determines the function of the "Cash/Credit" button.
If it's on [5-1], press the play button and change it to like [5-0] or [5-2] and close the door.
Now try the "Cash/Credit" button before you play...
If it comes on when you hit it - then the "Cash/Credit" button is set to "manual" !
Hope this helps ya ! :89-

[5-0] is automatic credit. The button cannot be turned on or off when there are no credits on the machine and all wins go to the credit meter.
It blinks when there are credits to be cashed out.
[5-1] is manual and is called "Player Initiated Credit." It defaults to being OFF (after the machine has sat idle for 30 seconds with no credits)
and must be turned on prior to play to use credit mode. The light is steady when on.
[5-2] is manual and is called "Player Initiated Non-Credit." It defaults to being ON (after the machine has sat idle for 30 seconds with no credits)
and must be turned off prior to play to have winnings drop to the tray. The light is steady when on.
