Title: Coin Counter meter on side of Sigma U1700 Post by: enforcer on September 25, 2009, 05:07:31 PM Anyone have a solution for disabling the noisy coin/credit counting meter on the side of the Sigma U1700 Video Slot without causing an error ? I tired disconnecting the wire leads going to the meter directly and this produced an instant error that only cleared after re-attaching and re-booting...

The spring is what snaps the counter pawl from the solenoid inside the counter case. This way, with all the wires still intact, the machine will still "think" that it moved the counter gears ...
