Title: s+ ram clear Post by: bkoch on September 27, 2009, 05:28:44 PM I have a S+ machine that I recently changed the game and reel chips.I used a set 90 chip to start and Ever since then I have a code 3100 every time I press cash out. I have read in prior posts that performing a ram clear could help this. I have a ram clear chip now, but have no instructions on how to use it. Can some help?

2 Remove Hopper and MPU 3 Remove Game SP chip 4 Insert Clear Chip 5 Install MPU, leave hopper out 6 Turn Machine ON and you may also have to press Test button. 7 Let machine count up or down 8 Turn Machine off 9 Remove MPU 10 Install Game Chip 11 Install MPU 12 Turn Machine on 13 Clear any tilts that occur 14 play a few games Then do your machine and Set chip options. When you used your Set90 you had your hopper out. Turning the machine off.... I would pull the hopper, clean the connectors with a white eraser or pen knive to scrape some of the years of casino funk off If that doesn't work you might want to try cleaning your hopper optic.
