Title: EFI/RFI choke on Backlit harness between Cabinet I/O and Back lit Controller Post by: Foster on September 29, 2009, 10:57:54 PM It is buzzing like it getting AC current through it.
I temporarily removed it from the harness until I could figure out what is causing it to buzz. Fix: I found the issue the Ground Wires came out of the tap in connectors I used to get the 13 VDC, 25VDC and 2 Ground wires. Where did you hear the buzzing noise from? Sound coming from the speaker? :103- Title: Re: EFI/RFI choke on Backlit harness between Cabinet I/O and Back lit Controller Post by: Foster on September 30, 2009, 03:52:29 AM The Ferrite EFI/RFI choke was buzzing.
The loop of wires going through it created the magnetic field and it was vibrating the 2 pieces of ferrite or being attracted to nearby metal parts. People thought it was in my head :103- :97- Moved the harness away from the MPU case and it stopped. it's NOT the same as the greasy American style pepperoni.... there's something different about them and I think it has to do with the meat importation laws or something... someone that worked near a border pizzeria told me that fact. You just won't find that kind of pepperoni in the states.
