To go to test # 1 open door press & release the test button until 01 d appears in the message center . Than advance by pressing max bet or you can pause the display by pressing and holding spin.Go to 015 d this indicates the reel operation in safe ram. 0 indicates normal reel spin. 1 would indicate crazy reel spin . close the door or press reset to exit. Title: Re: BALLY 5500/PRO - reels spinning backwards Post by: StatFreak on October 02, 2009, 04:19:28 AM If the dip switch is set to crazy reel spin and you wish to change to normal spin, you will need to do a complete saferam clear to change it. The machine only reads the dip switch settings one time immediately following a complete clear, so just changing the switch setting alone will not do it.

Jumpers are in the correct positon as are the rest of the bit switches. SO i will use this board for testing - at least I won't blow up a good board in the EVENT? thank you

The only major issue is the use of the TOGGLE switch on the MPU trying to use IMONEX vs a coin comparitor - see my positing (WRONG TOPIC) under IGT VIDEO (dah).
