Title: BlueBird Upright cost??
Post by: CaptainHappy on October 02, 2009, 06:31:37 AM
Hello,

I was wondering what a good price for a Williams Dual Screen BlueBird Upright? I am curious, and have not done anything with the newer WMS machines.

Thanks in advance for any information.

The dual screen machines are hard to come by, mainly because they are very successful in the casinos, typically as banked rows on a progressive.  As a result the casinos are in no rush to get rid of them.  I have recently seen over 150 Bluebirds go by (available) and not a single one of them was a dual.

The standard flat top, single screens, are more readily available.  Up until recently, the standard price was between $5,800 to $6,000 typically for that model and you can bet a dual, even if you could get your hands on one, will be much more.  The best advertised price I have seen recently was around $5,700 for the single.

A unique event recently has created what I feel is a temporary price drop in that the Russian government has shut down all casinos.  As a result 100's upon hundreds of these machines are being returned to the states as well as being distributed to other countries like South Africa.  Due to the large volume the price has dropped however my opinion is that once this run of machines has been distributed over the next month or so that the price will go back to the standard or may be only slightly less.

At the moment, I can get you a price on a BB much better than those standards, but I cannot discuss it here, I hope you understand.  PM me if you would like any additional information.

Jim,

K+ for the quick answer, and also for convincing me that I STILL can't afford a WMS video machine, especially those! :97- :97- :25- :25-

I always seem to pick the priciest toys, no AVP machine for me either! I will have fun with the Super Spin Sizzling Seven's that I just got though!  :72-

LOL....well I certainly understand.  I am picking up 40 machines here in the next week, more than half to be distributed....you would think the wife would finally allow me to pick up a BB for ourselves especially at these new prices.....but she say  :81-.

Interesting side note on the AVP's games from IGT.  There has been a price drop on the 044 conversion machines, i.e., take an I-game Plus machine and convert to a 044 AVP title and are more affordable.  I am currently building both a Wolf Run and a Shinobi as a result.

Capt. ,  Just "Build" your own AVP.  You probably know a few folks that could "guide" you through it- :103-.  Thanks B. And also glad you are back here -You were MIA/AWOL for quite a while- :96-.

Hello Jim,

I would have an interest on the BB machines and the 044 conversion machine.  Please PM me with the price and conditions.
