Title: Vision S2000 Sound Post by: Foster on October 05, 2009, 10:14:03 PM I made a new top box speaker harness, Since the one in the machine had the speakers wired in series.
My harness has speaker A connections going to one speaker and speaker B connections going to the other speaker. I was going to to install the Amp board but decided it could be too loud on lowest setting. I have Multi Media Lite 2 installed with DSV 42 I did set MMLB to stereo output. I thought the MMLB sound test are for stereo output. I see one letter of each tone change from like l to r depending which tone I select but sound still comes out of both speakers MMLB Index=193 ID=400086 smart4l <- I would guess that means left channel. MMLB Index=194 ID=400087 smart4r <- I would guess that means right channel. Is there something else I need to change besides that could have been overlooked? what about the speaker in the coin tray? I wonder if that is included? Title: Re: Vision S2000 Sound Post by: Foster on October 06, 2009, 09:18:38 PM I am not lucky enough to have a speaker in the coin tray yet.
Another thing I forgot to say is that I gained some volume by connecting each speaker to its own output. I figured that would happen. Title: Re: Vision S2000 Sound Post by: Brianzz on October 06, 2009, 09:24:04 PM Once you get the coin tray subwoofer your volume will double, it'll be so loud on 1 even with resistors inline that you can't stand it
And a video demonstration http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ab-4K7ZrKu0 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ab-4K7ZrKu0) Title: Re: Vision S2000 Sound Post by: stayouttadabunker on October 06, 2009, 09:46:09 PM You need a three line reel glass man! :89- :96-
Title: Re: Vision S2000 Sound Post by: StatFreak on October 06, 2009, 10:22:51 PM You need a I corrected your post. :96- :88- Brianzz, thanks for the video. The increase in volume certainly overloaded your microphone, but I'd probably like the extra bass if I had one of these machines. I would think that you could always get higher-valued resistors to lower the volume further if necessary. :128- Title: Re: Vision S2000 Sound Post by: Brianzz on October 06, 2009, 11:26:55 PM Yeah the 5 line wide glasses are evidently pretty hard to find
