Title: Mystery S+ chip
Post by: stayouttadabunker on October 08, 2009, 10:32:50 PM
A member was asking me for some help on a particular chip they have in an S+.
It is an "SP932"...is this a valid numbered SP chip?
Or could  he/she be mistaken?
They read it off the display when I sent them a copy of
ricks FAQ on how to identify your chip numbers...

If it is indeed a valid chip, could someone send to me a PSR on it?
It would be greatly apprecitaed and you'll get many, many kudo's from me! :89-

The SP 932 was widely used in New Jersey instead of the 1271 and such

Thats right, my DD came from Trump World's Fair casino. I was able to match the serial number to the DGE website from NJ. It orginally was a 50 cent machine but the got converted to 25 cents? Unless some poor soul just didn't change the denom when it cam into the testing lab for approval :30-

The cool thing I just found out about this SP932 chip
is that it's good to use for an 8 X 8 progressive display! :79-
That's huge!

I've attached a quote from the SP932 PSR>>>

"Progressive
Features/Displays   Non-progressive; link progressive; single-level or double-level progressive;
and an 8 x 8 progressive display."
