Post by: knagl on October 14, 2009, 06:57:19 PM I'm not a Bally expert, but I believe that the Game Magic used a CD-ROM (where the GameMaker used EPROMs). I believe that you're correct that the order of production was GameMaker, Game Magic, EVO.
Title: Re: GameMaker vs Game Magic ? Post by: tacman on October 14, 2009, 07:17:53 PM Knagl is correct. The GameMagic or V8000 uses a CD for the graphics, gameplay and sound. An eprom is used on the MPU as a key or base chip. The GameMagic also utilizes an elongated monitor like the Odyssey.
