Title: UPS - listen/read this story Post by: FOXSSLOTS1 on October 16, 2009, 04:01:51 PM I had a shipment get LOST (25 x 25 x 25 box) insured - signature required - nothing new here - right? Well here is how it gets interesting - after getting the substantiating documents (A PAYPAL INVOICE - amount of the item - the SHIPPING and HANDLING) - guess what??? UPS wants me to tell them all about the handling (the box and the packing)!!!! Now I have to submit an invoice WITH RECEIPTS for the BOX - the STYROFOAM sheets - the BUBBLE WRAP - THE TAPE!!! I charged the guy $20.00 (1 inch strofoam sheets). They think I have all my shipping supplies inventoried - good thing I didn't tell them I used my computer to print a label (they would want to know where I bought the computer and the INK .. I I have finally made up my mind - FEDEX here I come - not only that - I am mailing ALL my vendors - ship anyway but UPS - UPS shipments will be refused.

Title: Re: UPS - listen/read this story Post by: a69mopar on October 16, 2009, 11:12:26 PM I hate UPS brokerage fees at the border, but I have at least received my items from them, so far that is. This is good to know, and I'm sure Wilson would love to know you like Fedex.
Thanks, Wayne Title: Re: UPS - listen/read this story Post by: dpalmi on October 17, 2009, 01:24:06 PM Dan #2

Title: Re: UPS - listen/read this story Post by: FOXSSLOTS1 on October 17, 2009, 07:35:19 PM most likely not - but how many horror stories have you heard about UPS?
Title: Re: UPS - listen/read this story Post by: a69mopar on October 17, 2009, 08:15:47 PM Dan #2 I knew you guys would get that one right away.I prefer fedex, although the border fees are about the same. U.P.S. ticked me off before by billing me for a shipment about 10 weeks after I got it. An ebay seller sent it U.P.S. even though I requested U.S.P.S., was quoted U.S.P.S. and paid for that, they probably saved a few dollars, but it cost me a lot. i left them positive feedback after a few weeks, since I hadn't been billed yet from U.P.S. and didn't think I would be. You Live, you pay, you learn... Thanks, Wayne Title: Re: UPS - listen/read this story Post by: stayouttadabunker on October 17, 2009, 08:21:28 PM 10 weeks? Isn't there a statute of limitations on that?
That's ridiculously late... You should have told them you paid it already...they would of been scrambling :138- |
