Title: IGT S+ 41 error (FIXED) Post by: SK8US on October 18, 2009, 10:25:57 PM Hi,
I have this error come up for reel 1, I have changed reels and it follows. I check connections and it will work for awhile but then error 41. Should I just replace thereel reader or? Do reel readers work sometimes and not other times or do they just stop working? Is there a way to check them or is it best just to replace them once they start acting up? Thanks, Scott Title: Re: IGT S+ 41 error Post by: Ozzy on October 18, 2009, 10:45:06 PM Check you have nothing touching the reel drum as it spins, usually a wire or part of wiring harness hanging down behind the reel. If you have a spare CPU pcb, change it out to make sure that the fault is not the board. Do you mean also that when you swop reel do you mean you put reel 1 in reel 2 position ??

If I work on the male connectors it seems to work for awhile then error.

I took the reel reader from reel 1 and switched it with reel 2 with no error's. I will see if this will last and will keep you posted. My guess is it was in the connectors and when I switched them it made proper contact after I replugged them in. Thanks for all your help and will let you know if it errors again.
