Title: bally 6000 error code 20 Post by: otis51 on October 29, 2009, 11:47:09 PM need some help i have a bally 6000 i got from a person it was setup for tokens when i got the machine it had no optics board the person he play it with tokens? when i turn the machine on a error code 20 came up i put in a optics and the error code came back up i clean the optics and same thing.
Title: Re: bally 6000 error code 20 Post by: Crowsen on November 24, 2009, 02:16:11 PM I looked at the manual for a 6000 and it only listed two things to correct this problem. 1.Clear the path of the coin slot or any jams in the coin mechanism. 2. Clean all dirt from the optics,wich you have already done. I would look at a post I saw on this site on how to repair coin optics or buy a new coin optic.

I get the 20 error when a CC is hooked up. So you may want to take the above suggestion and clean the optics or change them, check harness also. -R
