Title: Bally 5500pro in a 6000pro machine
Post by: PWRSTROKE on October 31, 2009, 05:54:34 PM
Here is a stupid question on my behalf and I think I know the answer.  I have a "roaring 20's" 5500 complete kit and would like to install it in a 6000pro.  I think it will work- :103-.  I do not fool with bally's much at all so thought I would ask.  Actually went to turn on the bonus frenzy about a week ago and the battery has gone dead--- :25-.  I will probaly need the clear chip as well from what I have gathered.  Thanks B.

I believe you can just put the personality chips in and your good to go!

Thanks jd,  But you did say "I believe".  I think it should work as well- :103-.  Thanks B. Probably next week or so before I execute the swap.

Well  - I've put in several 5500 personality kits into a 6000 with no problem.    I've also put 6000 games in a 5500.

Haven't tried roaring 20's though - hence the 'believe'.

Yes Roaring 20's works in a 6000, they made a clone of it named At the Hop, In the Money is another (but also made as a line game)

oops, Happy Birthday, and how about a hoot ring instead, they are sometimes stainless steel, but more common in white sometimes padded, hinge at end included  :208-
