Title: Jennings 400 control board Post by: Zirlong on November 01, 2009, 11:00:53 AM Hi,
My slot machine is a Jennings 400 multi-line (see pictures attached). It seems to have a trouble with the control board and I am looking for a new one. What is the problem ? Most of the times, when machine pluged up, lights turn on but with no coin count display and I cannot pull the handle. Sometimes, I don't know why, I have a display on the coin count ("999" or "000") and I can pull the handle, the reels spin but if I win, the machine shuts down. I have not enough expertise to repair the control board, so I prefer to replace it. I would be grateful if someone has some ideas where I can find a new one. Thanks for your help Bruno Title: Re: Jennings 400 control board Post by: galahad on November 01, 2009, 02:31:19 PM Bruno-

My buddy and I had a number of 400s and got so frustrated trying to keep those old TTL boards running, I designed a new board with modern components. I still have a few laying around.

Galahad - Thanks a lot for the information. Bruno Title: Re: Jennings 400 control board Post by: Op-Bell on November 03, 2009, 03:39:32 PM A couple of question. What is the jackpot payout for 7 7 7 on the 5th line? I see it's a lock-up hand pay - I can make it a cash pay if you prefer. And where are you located?

I don't know how much 777 pays on the 5th line when lit. When I bought it, the pay table was already torn and the value missing. Maybe 200 ? :103- Between a lock-up hand pay and a cash pay, I prefer of course a cash pay. And for the last question, I am located in Norfolk, Virginia. Thanks for your assistance. Since it's a hand pay, the operator can change it to something lower and the player wouldn't know he was being cheated. It sounds like that's what happened in your case.
The original machine is set to lock up for payouts over 400 - I don't know if the hopper has enough capacity for a 2000 payout, or if you're wealthy enough to fill it if it did! The payout counter is only 3 digits so that would be another problem. We can discuss this off line. I just wanted to make sure you were in the US before I agreed to let you have a board. It's too much trouble trying to support things overseas! SIDE NOTE: New to the forum and hate to revive a thread this old, but, i have to make a post in the first 24 hours to avoid my account getting deleted. Thank you all in advance!
