Title: Mixed up chips s2000's Post by: U.S.AutoService on November 02, 2009, 09:45:15 PM Down to fixing my last two s2000 machines. Ordered a new power supply for one and a main board for another. I have been scrounging parts from both of these to fix the other ones. But some where along the line I mixed up the chips. Here is what I know for sure, the 2 machines are 3 reels each 3 coin, a Jekyll & Hyde and a Double Diamond haywire.
The Jekyll & Hyde has a Stepperbase chip # SB100023 I know for sure. The other choices are : one of these game chips is for Jekyll & Hyde & the other one is for Double Diamond, but I mixed them up Stepper GME : SG000363 (2 chips) Stepper GME : SG 000116 (2 chips) Version chip : VS011GX1 Version chip : VS011GX1 Hum-mm, I just answered my own question here, they are the same. Stepper base : SB100155 (hard to read) is this for Double Diamond haywire I assume ? I guess I could just try one and see if it works right, but maybe you might know for sure . thanks :137- U.S.Auto Service Dan Title: Re: Mixed up chips s2000's Post by: Brianzz on November 02, 2009, 09:53:50 PM 100155 is DD haywire
sg000363 is Titanic? Title: Re: Mixed up chips s2000's Post by: U.S.AutoService on November 02, 2009, 10:09:55 PM thanks...
The sg000363 has to be for Jekyll & Hyde then I assume . could Titanic & Jekyll & Hyde use the same chip ? :137- U.S.Auto Service Dan Title: Re: Mixed up chips s2000's Post by: stayouttadabunker on November 02, 2009, 10:31:50 PM I don't know what game the SG000363 chip is for but
I have it in my Tabasco so I can have the split VFD screen. Title: Re: Mixed up chips s2000's Post by: Ron (r273) on November 02, 2009, 10:48:03 PM SG000363 chip supports 32 theme specific games with the corresponding simm card. It also supports most S+ stepper slot games
when used with SB001000. RON Title: Re: Mixed up chips s2000's Post by: U.S.AutoService on November 03, 2009, 08:45:26 PM Thanks to all, and special thanks to Ruden... Here is what I did today, I got the boards figured out and did the ram clear and then went to put the stepper base back in and noticed that there was 2 legs missing , broken off the base chip.... Darn... So I guess the casino that got rid of these had tried some things before they dumped them. So I gotta get a stepper base chip. I have get a SB100155 or equivalent. I hope all the chips will do the double Diamond Haywire.

Thanks for putting up the video clip Jim! You have the sweetest looking machines! :184- That Double Diamond Haywire in the S2000 platform is a classic game! I know there are more modern machines and platforms out there nowadays, but that one is one of my all-time favorites... :89- |
