Title: Progressive changes enabled
Post by: pinballpaul on November 07, 2009, 05:13:28 PM
I cleared the Safe Ram following the instructions, turned the dip switches off leaving the clear chip in.  Then I set up the cabinet settings (bar top etc.) then restart it.  After that it comes up with progressive changes enabled press the audit button and another screen flashes for a second (coin options?) then goes back to progressive changes enabled.  The ram clear chip is still in.  Am I doing something wrong?

pinballpaul,

You might check DIPSW2, switch #7 as it controls access to the progressive feature. May want to flip on and off a few times then power up. Switch #7 should be off. Perhaps you nudged it to on when you did your clear with DIPSW1, #7 & 8.

I did as you said, but now the touch screen does not work and it keeps freezing up (blue screen).  Any suggestions?

Partial success.  I solved the progressive problem (dipswitch), but after a struggle to finish setting up it now is in game mode.  Now it will run for about ten minutes go bluescreen and in about 30 seconds comes back to where it left off.  Battery voltage is good power supply is good.  The touchscreen still does not work (it game from another game, wires good, green LED that dims when screen is touched).
