Title: help w/Kortek 1703 Post by: vinnywv on November 12, 2009, 01:28:11 PM Need help with a Kortek 1703 that pulses green after warmed up for a few minutes. Tried a new neck board to no avail. Like I said, it is fine until it runs for about 3 or 4 minutes. Any suggestions out there?

When focusing (after trying another neckboard), the problem reappeared. Thinking the flyback is weak? Going to swap that now. I'm fairly new at this and don't have much testing equipment (meter and cap analyzer), so going through as logical as I can. Thanks for the quick replies.

C107 - 47uf, 50v C108 - 1uf, 50v C123 - 1000uf, 16v C126 - 470uf, 16v C408 - 22uf, 160v C421 - 10uf, 160v (always replace this if you replace the H.O.T.) C506 - 47uf, 50v C508 - 100uf, 50v Also, do you have another monitor that takes that board? If so, try putting that board into the other chassis to confirm that the problem is not on the board. I had a monitor do that to me and all of the guns in the tube died except the green. |
