Title: DBV won't take bill's Post by: CVslots on November 15, 2009, 01:21:11 PM I have an I game that won't take bills. :99- Installed the new software and did a ram clear and reboot now the DBV lights up and takes the bill then rejects it. I've swapped a working DBV with the same results. This is my first I game and I'm thinking I'm missing a setting in the set up. :103-

I had the same problem with a s2000 a wile back and I think it was something to do with a setting on one of the limits. I've checked all of the settings several times. I don't know if it makes a difference but the only thing I can't change is the hopper limit. Being coinless would it matter if the hopper limit is at zero? :103-

I just ran ito this problem the other day and beat my head up until I figured it out. The machine defaulted to 1000 credits and I had it set to pennies and tried to put in a 100 dollar bill and it kept giving it back. After trying other bill validators, and clearing the bill validator crc and it still didn't work I really started looking harder at the limits. On other games I have never had to change the limit but this one required it. That's how we learn, give it a whirl and let us know how you come out.
