Title: Newbie - I+ Games Questions
Post by: SlotJunkie on November 15, 2009, 11:49:09 PM
Hello Everybody!

Been lurking here a couple of days (glad to find ya'll) & decided to jump right in w/ my 1st post...

Just purchased & delivered this Saturday a new/used "Snow Globes" IGT machine & have a few questions hoping somebody can answer:

1 - What I+ game titles are available for this machine?? (familiar with WMS 550 eProms & swapping of games, but not IGT models -- can't find a list here & curious)

2 - What price range should I expect to pay per title/Game??

3 - Is it more difficult to swap out games (as compared to WMS 550)??

 :5-

Many, many thanks!!!!

Any other females here??? LOL!!

I have never formulated a list but I would bet there are over a hundred.  A current or marketed list of titles can be found at www.IGT.com .

2 - What price range should I expect to pay per title/Game??

About a year ago you could pick up titles in the $150 range. However there is a shortage of available games / Sim's as of late and I have found the market price to be around $200 now for most titles.  Some game titles are more or less depending on it's popularity.  Note that this does not include the matching glass panels.  Some panels are $10 or less if they are not popular, some you will pay $50 a panel for, and even others sets, in my mind are priceless, for example like a Stink-en Rich like I have in a Round top or an Alien would demand a pretty penny to be certain.

3 - Is it 'harder' to swap out games (as compared to WMS 550)??

No, it is actually easier as there are fewer proms to swap out.  You should however pick up a Key 22 eprom as it can make a game change go more smoothly, it also allows you to change accounting denomination and set up on screen multi-denomination.  I have these available if you need one and offer 15 minutes of telephone support along with it in changing out a title if you need it.

-- Thank you very much... I've tried looking there for titles that might be available, but seems you must be in the gaming industry to become a member... which I, unfortunately, am not!  Just an avid Slots player / machine buyer.....

A Listing of available I+ titles would be a tremendous help to those of us here who may not be as brave as I to post & are curious about game availability...

Would probably help SALES of these more expensive machines for those of you in the industry too!!! <Hint, Hint / Wink, Wink / NUDGE, Nudge!!!>

-- Whew... glad to hear not too difficult!!! Have a Key 22 eprom from our Game King ( I have 5 slot machines now! LOL! ) -- would that Key Work???

Thank you so, so much & would LOVE to hear if anybody has a list of I+ game titles available!!!

Welcome to NLG SlotJunkie!!! :3-

As to your last question, there are a few female NLG members...but I'm NOT one of them... :5-

I personally think that women are way smarter than us guys and
have very few problems with their machines as opposed to us guys who somehow
like to screw them up   uh,... experiment with them.... :72-

I bet you were smart enough to leave it at that and not dispute it.  I believe there are equally intelligent people in both sexes.

Thanks,

He asked me "Who wears the pants in your famiily". I polietly let him know that I wear the pants but she controls the fly.....  :72-

A newlywed couple unpacks in their honeymoon suite. The husband takes off his pants. "Put these on," he says to his wife.

She does, but the pants are nearly twice her size. "There's no way I can wear these. They're too big," she says.

"Good, now you know who wears the pants in this family."

Calmly, the wife takes off her panties and gives them to her husband. "Put these on," she commands.

The husband looks at the small pair of panties and says, "There's no way I can get into these."

The wife replies, "That's right, and now you know the rules until you change your attitude."  :72- :72- :72-

Ya know I own a car, but have been known to use a "rental" when mines not working right. This same analogy can be used for other things as well.

I've also heard that rentals can be much less expensive in the long run, and you have your choice of model every time.  :129-

You might have your choice of model but they usually have lots of miles on them and you can never be too sure about the handling.....

Or how many times it's been "rented" before you got there...

Who cares how many times its been rented before, that's whay its a RENTAL. :5-  I figure if its a newer model, clean and no damage with the options I want, than whats the difference?  :96- It's just short term, otherwise you should just buy and be stuck for the long term. But pity those guys who decide to purchase a rental!  :25-
