Title: Poker Machine Cooling Fan Disconnect? Post by: Yoeddy1 on November 17, 2009, 04:51:21 AM So I have a CEI Poker machine, but I think this may be applicable in general. On the right hand of the machine, there is is a cooling fan that pulls air from the outside into the machine. The problem is that this fan is pretty noisy. It's working fine, but I was wondering if it would harm anything if the plug was disconnected. It is soooo nice with it off. :)
Do most poker machines regardless of mfg have cooling fans installed? Is the intent to cool the monitor, the PCB's or all of the above? I think about arcade machines...do these usually have cooling fans? Anyway, I would appreciate some input and opinions. Thanks! Title: Re: Poker Machine Cooling Fan Disconnect? With that said - if your not leaving the machine on all the time you can probably get away without it. You can get silent PC fans inexpensively and perhaps replace it. |
