Ian Title: Re: Memory Reset Post by: Randy0777 on December 08, 2009, 07:22:40 AM Thanks Ian, As I said before... Every other "game" I try I get an error. About all of them go back to a "COMM Error". I get the game screen up,and thats it??? I'm running Happy Safari in it now(which is the only one that lets me "turn off" the COMM board). Tried diff. chips on the COMM board, cleared the comm board, cleared the main boards...and tried a few diff. comm boards :97-

Title: Re: Memory Reset Post by: next_gaming on December 21, 2009, 03:49:46 AM Hello
In progressives like cash fever or King Kong cash the Apl is the configuration for value to linked machine to others, the commboard takes the info and auto configurate, in case it´s a slave machine, if is a master machine this need to be configurated whit atronic pc-link setup, however in you´re case for apl error do you need to see the commboard dip switches banks, and rotatory switches too, rotatory give a adress to the machine and dip switch established the comunications system, if you perform a ram clear to the commboard but you dont configure switches the error keeps appearing on the screen, maybe somebody can give the right settings for commboard, and you can solve the trouble´for put the machine to work whitout linked system hope this helps. Best Regards Next G Title: Re: Memory Reset Post by: Randy0777 on December 21, 2009, 03:58:57 AM Just uploaded the COMM manual to the file section.

Title: Re: Memory Reset Post by: TZtech on December 22, 2009, 08:54:00 AM Hi Guys
APL - Atronic Progressive Link. For this and ticketing info i think you will need the config SW and also the dongle to enable the program to run on your PC. Sorry guys still have not got to mine here in the workshop as I am struggling with some Aristocrats right now. As soon as i get round to these i can provide more informed assistance :> Ianj Title: Re: Memory Reset Post by: SAT (aka GANDHI) on February 17, 2010, 05:06:44 PM HI CVslots.... could you get your machine up and running???

I`m almost going mad. any advice will be helpfull. thanks in advance. Title: Re: Memory Reset Post by: SAT (aka GANDHI) on November 21, 2010, 05:52:55 PM some times it happens when some of your chips is blown....... sometimes because of firmware incompatibility with the software (game) you're trying to install.
the more details you provide on the hardware and software you want to install, the better we can help. i can provide more info when i get home........ cheers Title: Re: Memory Reset Post by: Jpau on November 22, 2010, 02:40:18 PM thanks for you response guys!!
it´s kind of odd !!, because this game was working pretty fine just before I tried out the other one, see the problem is that I have four Emotions whit no game on it, so the providers from whom I got them just sent me these four games sets , com chips, game chips cd room and they only included one bios I mean for just one game, the other problem is that as you say game versions might be might be mixed up, but this game was working before I took it out from machine, and now is not, machine jus keeps rebooting. I tried adding more 256 mb ram but no luck! don´t really have any idea about what´s happening. does any one have the information about the matching com, game and Bios versions I´m really having so much troubles whit this issue.
