I am rebuilding my mame cocktail cabinet which is kind of bulky since it contains a traditional 27" tube monitor.
I am going to use a low profile coffee table and a LCD screen + a laptop with a broken screen (great cpu/ram) as the engine.

Rather than use the traditional Red, Blue, Purple etc ... buttons I was hoping there was someone out there that has wood grain colored buttons. and possibly joystick handles.
The handles since there will be about 4 - 6 of them I can probably get "turned" by a buddy but the buttons would be a miuch bigger challenge.

Anyone got a link for this ???

This may be stretching it on the joystick handle, but maybe you could find some nice glossy wood stick shift handles/knobs for a car??? Just thinking out of the box.

For the buttons I doubt this would work as slot buttons are not as responsive as arcade buttons are, but with slot buttons you could print wood patterns and any text you need on transperant material put onto of a blank legend, and then light them up? A lousier idea is to use generic arcade buttons and top it with woodgrain contact paper like what you would line you cabinets with?

I'm surprised the canadians haven't come up with a hockey slot machine using hockey sticks for a handle.
