I didn't know that an S2000 has a ticket in sound. Title: Re: Changing S2000 sounds Post by: idesign on October 07, 2008, 07:52:39 PM The sound you hear is the sound that is played only when the printer is printing a ticket, not when a ticket is inserted in the BV.
Title: Re: Changing S2000 sounds Post by: brian123dff on October 07, 2008, 08:43:24 PM I do see two distinct sounds - one sound that happens when a ticket is inserted, and another when a ticket is printed. I'm sure there is a way to remap the coin in sound to the ticket in sound, as I have seen this done at casinos..
I'm guessing this will need to be done on the sound board.. Title: Re: Changing S2000 sounds Post by: blueridgeslots on October 07, 2008, 10:09:34 PM Isn't the Bill in or Ticket in the same sound??
Title: Re: Changing S2000 sounds Post by: idesign on October 07, 2008, 10:17:18 PM Isn't the Bill in or Ticket in the same sound?? That's what I thought too. I never heard a machine use the ticket printer sound when taking bills or ticket, or coins for that matter. Title: Re: Changing S2000 sounds Post by: blueridgeslots on October 08, 2008, 12:45:59 AM I believe so, The Option MONEY VOLUME is for Money In, either Ticket or Cash, The Printed Ticket Out Drum Roll - Beep Beep sound is to get your attention to get the ticket before you leave, and just a note, there are different Sound Simms for some early themed games that are TITO Enhanced as the game was introduced prior to the EZ Pay System (such as Titantic, Cigar, Phantom) they remade the simms with a different number

I'll get the board #s if it can be helpful. I do have a key chip and I went through the menus, but there isn't any option to set the sounds. I have no problem tinkering with the eprom I would just appreciate a nudge in the right direction :103-

Hello! His original question was "Is it possible to have the ticket in sound play when coins or bills are inserted?" so I don't think he's getting tickets to validate but wants the ticket validate sound for both coins and bills. I agree it is a little more exciting than the normal "donk". Dan #2 |
