Title: Just picked up a Fortune I that does not work, help? Post by: rilaw on November 24, 2009, 01:59:10 AM OK, machine looks great, almost new looking (Strange since its from 1982), anyway... When I turn it on, all the lighting works, nothing else :103- No monitor, no led on the board, no hopper, nata :37- Where the hell do I start?? The two circuit breakers are fine as is the fuse on the monitor. :98- :99- :99- :99-

Post by: CVslots on November 26, 2009, 05:41:03 PM I had the same problem on a couple of the F1's, so I just unpluged mine to make sure. Both times it has been the molex plug on the bottom of the monitor. With it unpluged you will have lights but nothing else. Inspest and clean both ends and reseat it.

If the picture is a shot of the main board in a RGB monitor, the board is probably ok, the hot spots are pretty normal for a RGB monitor...if all the traces are good all you (normally) need to do is replace all the electrolytic capacitors...about 95% of the time this will bring a RGB back to "life".
