Title: Imonex coin mech instead of CC-16's? Post by: reho33 on November 30, 2009, 06:18:04 PM Just wanted to know if anyone has used an Imonex coin mech instead of a Coin Mechanisms CC-16? They are cheaper and I just want to use tokens, never quarters so a comparitor is really not needed. If so, how is it connected?

It involves removing Q-2 or Q-4 (depending what version is in your machine) That's it! only draw back if you put more coins in then the required amount, it will pay back from the hopper. you can get a version of that acceptor that will accept coins ranging from .900 thru and up to .984, which includes our quarter at .950
Jim P.S. if its a real old version with the timer on it, then you have to remove the diode next to it. Title: Re: Imonex coin mech instead of CC-16's? Post by: jay on November 30, 2009, 09:31:26 PM I had one on my slot, it came that way as the "permanent" fix to using real money. What a joke.
It worked fine. Q4 was cut on mine. I swapped it with a CC16 as my other machines were all CC16. What is in your machine now ?? CC-33 ? |
