Title: New to Site/slots: Question on my IGT Haywire Post by: Millermaster1 on December 15, 2009, 10:27:05 PM Hello, Total newbie to American slots and slot repair, so please be patient!
I have a Haywire door optic question: There are different color wires and I would like to add a push button switch instead of the optics. On the door side, I have a red and black. On the machine side, red and white. Would I connect the 2 reds to the on and the black/white to the common of the switch? The past owner believes this is the problem and "it just stopped working one day" I'm sure there will be more issues (that's just my luck), but I wanted to start with this! Thanks and great site! Above is the link to a long discussion on this... Hope it helps ya! Basically, keep the black wires in-line with each other. Switch on/off any other color wires. |
