Title: Re: cei poker problem Post by: dormi on December 22, 2009, 04:02:36 PM There is a common wire for the hold buttons. Common switch wire "C" connects to board at P101 pin 19 through panel 4 pin 1 (J204). If OK game board IC CA3183 switch common is probably bad.
Title: Re: cei poker problem Post by: billzel on December 24, 2009, 02:53:38 PM thanks for responding to my posting. the buttons work fine when i install a different. does this mean if i replace the chip you mentioned they will work and will this chip be available most electronics stores. thanks again
Title: Re: cei poker problem Post by: dormi on January 02, 2010, 12:36:53 AM On the this repair it is not necessary to replace the whole IC. One option is to clip pins 6,7,and 8 on U49 and attach a NPN transistor such as a 2N4401, base to pin 6, collector to 7, and emitter to 8.
