Title: Bally V2000 low battery
Post by: CVslots on December 17, 2009, 03:49:40 AM
I had a low battery message on my V2000, I changed the battery and got the low battery message to go away but now the machine won't coin up. Do I need to do a ram clear on it :103-

that may work - try reseating the board too first.

My V2000 machine just put this 'low battery' up.  Won't do anything now.   How did this work out?

Your first step is to replace the battery. If the machine needs a clear after the change, our members will be glad to help you get it up and running.

Isn't there a dipswitch on one of the boards of the V2000 that you can change to get rid of the low battery message? Its been so long I forgot which one it is.

there is a dip switch  6?   never had luck with it - usually a board problem.

Where is a good place to buy one of these batteries?

Found the battery, thanks to Barry.  Soldered the new one in yesterday.   Turned it on and it kicked a couple quarters out and works great now!
