I just bought an S-Plus 10 Times Pay Deluxe locally off craigslist. After a 5 hour cleaning, I turned it on to find error code 12. I ran to Radio Shack (couldn't wait to order online for less) to pick up an overpriced battery. I noticed that there was no reel sound, so I got ahold of a PSR and found that unlike my other machines this one has a software option to turn it on/off. The hopper would run, but no coins came out. Hmm... the knife is toast, put that on the order list. The coins sometimes go to the hopper without registering. Looks like the coin guide in the optics is for a larger coin, add that to the order. Bill validator runs, but won't accept bills. After swapping head and transport with another machine, I find that swapping the power supply fixes it. Another thing to add to the order. A few miscellaneous cosmetic parts added in for good measure, and my order is ready. One of the many fantastic vendors on the site has me covered. Once the parts arrive, I'll have a completely working game! Thanks to the NLG site, I was able to diagnose and order replacement parts for each of the issues with the game. What a fantastic place this is to the hobbyist!!
