Hi mikeyd. Welcome to NLG  :88-

I merged your two topics as it is not necessary to post a request in more than one location. Our regular members read all of the posts and it is easier to troubleshoot an issue in one thread. I kept both of your posts since they are worded differently.

Hopefully someone will have some help for you soon.

You can pinout most of it by using a multimeter.

Find an EPROM or 7400 series logic chip. Locate the +5v pin on it and measure the continuity between that pin and the pins for the power supply connector. If it's less than 2 or 3 ohms then there are your +5v pins.

Next, find the ground pin and measure continuity to those power supply connector pins. You've just found your ground pins.

Now, the only tricky part is trying to figure out what the remaining pins are: +12? -5? Power Good? (Yes, there is a "power good" signal on PC style power supplies of the older generation) These can usually be found by tracing where they go too.

Don't know which pins are +5 and ground on the chips? http://www.datasheetarchive.com is your friend for chip information.

Ok. Im not understanding this. So bare with me. The pins on the motherboard from left to right. I was hoping that it would be the same like the 12 pin to connect. pin 1 power good, then +5 then +12 then -12 then ground, then ground. the second set is ground,ground,-5,+5,+5.+5 here is the pics.thanks

WOOHOO!

Can you post the final pinout for other folks that may have trouble figuring out the info?
