Title: IGT S+ - runaway hopper Post by: FOXSSLOTS1 on January 15, 2010, 04:26:29 PM I have an S+ if I put the hopper in and power up - hopper runs (runaway). if i take the hopper out - do a ram clear - get 61 code - test to 61-1 - close door - turn j/p key - get 65-1 - test button - close door -leave the hopper out - power up - machine starts up correctly - if I play with door open using the optic coin button - game plays until I get a win - then I get 3200 error - error clears by closing and opening the door. I have traded known working hoppers - working cpu and working mpu boards. Machine does have BV but I disconnected and jumped the BV door wiring. This was a working machine - returned to warehouse with 20 degree temps - building is warming - other machines work fine.

After pulling out my hair (what little I have left) - disconnecting components - no cpu - and each connection going to the mother board - turns out to be the RELAY that is mounted to the left of the hopper female plug!!!!! the part# is CY4902. Just thought someone might have the same problem some day.
