Any tips on how to replace the battery?

The right way is to remove the board from the tray and unsolder the old one and resolder the new one.

The wrong way is to clip from the top and solder the leads on.

On a Gaming board there is only one battery. If you have a Lottery board there are two batterys. The second battery is a TELTAIL it is 3.6 volt 140ma and is solder into the board.
