Since its your money, do you: 1. Play for the Royal Fulsh (no wilds) 2. Play the odds to keep the credits going Just curious, I play the odds when the credits get low, otherwise I play for the highest payout, well depends on how many shots I've had. jon Title: Re: Video Poker Question (Survey?) Though I have been known to break a pat hand sometimes, eg I will usually discard FH aces to go for the 4 Aces on a bonus machine. I will also hold a suited 10 with a face card, which is not the correct play, but I've pulled in a heck of a lot of royals holding 10-Q or 10-K. My worst sin was one time at the Gold Coast while I was waiting for someone, I started playing a quarter Deuces Wild and was dealt a wild royal with one deuce. I discarded the deuce and drew the natural for $1000 instead of $31.25! I wouldn't normally have done that, but I was just passing time, not "really" playing.
