Title: Re: s2000 reel strips, HELP Post by: stayouttadabunker on January 22, 2010, 11:00:06 PM At the local casino, every one of those games have strips that look like you-know-what...
Feels like you're playing a real crappy, junky, old game... Makes me not want to go back there. Title: Re: s2000 reel strips, HELP Post by: a69mopar on January 22, 2010, 11:11:45 PM If you've found some place that can reproduce strips with good quality, I'd sure be interested. When I have time I'll see what I can do.
W Title: Re: s2000 reel strips, HELP Post by: Brianzz on January 23, 2010, 01:02:28 AM I think those and the sizzling and freedom strips are hard to find because they were all printed with the fading process and when someone gets a decent set they hoard them for themselves (Wayne and Ohiogaming :96-). I often wonder why IGT didn't go back and reprint the strips using the normal method and swap out with the casinos.

Maybe because they want the casinos to get all kinds of customer complaints about how ugly these machines look and to force the casinos to go out and lease MORE NEW MACHINES FROM IGT. I'm frickin' am starting to hate :7- monopolizing companies with their greedy, :18- selfish business moves. :101- :107- :107- Whew! sorry, I was getting ticked off... :96- Title: Re: s2000 reel strips, HELP Post by: a69mopar on January 23, 2010, 03:39:56 AM I think those and the sizzling and freedom strips are hard to find because they were all printed with the fading process and when someone gets a decent set they hoard them for themselves (Wayne and Ohiogaming :96-). I often wonder why IGT didn't go back and reprint the strips using the normal method and swap out with the casinos. I believe mine are washable (not faded). :96- The Casinos could buy them but don't care since they are about $135 each, and most customers will still play the colour right off those old strips. Title: Re: s2000 reel strips, HELP Post by: a69mopar on January 24, 2010, 12:28:02 AM a sane person would have left them on the machine. They wouldn't lay flat. I don't hoarde strips, I hoarde machines, they just happen to have strips in them. :96-
W p.s., they are washable :96- Title: Re: s2000 reel strips, HELP Post by: mah on January 24, 2010, 02:42:58 AM FYI. Found this posting on craigslist from someone who makes reel strips.
