Title: Low Battery code on a Sigma Free-n-Easy machine Post by: Jenn on January 22, 2010, 04:37:30 PM Hi everyone,
My name is Jenn and I am wondering if anyone would be able to help me. I am interested in purchasing a slot machine for my husband for his 40th birthday. I however have absolutely no experience or knowledge of slot machines. I have found a machine that interests me. It is a Sigma Free-n-Easy slot machine. In the ad the seller stated that as of right now there is a low battery code displayed. Since I have no clue about slot machines I am wondering if anyone would be nice enough to let me know if this is an easy thing to correct especially for someone completely inexperienced? Thanks so much!!! :-) Title: Re: Low Battery code on a Sigma Free-n-Easy machine Post by: stayouttadabunker on January 22, 2010, 06:49:31 PM If you're handy with a soldering gun, the battery is located at the front right corner of the board.
It's a big Sanyo battery about the size of a quarter. If you place an ad in the "Classifieds" section of MLG, I'm sure one of our vendors will spot your ad and try to help you out! :89- If you don't know how to use a soldering gun, then you may have to take out the board and take it to a shop that deals with slot machines and someone in there may be able to change out the battery for ya! Title: Re: Low Battery code on a Sigma Free-n-Easy machine Post by: Jenn on January 22, 2010, 09:27:06 PM Thanks for the info!! Just curious, is a $500 asking price a reasonable price for this machine with that type of code as well? Does anyone one know? Thanks!!!

Title: Re: Low Battery code on a Sigma Free-n-Easy machine Post by: Randy0777 on January 23, 2010, 06:52:45 AM You can turn the low battery check off and the game will play fine. Is 500 to much...depends on where you live. Are you paying for shipping?

I would however be driving about an hour to pick up the unit, if I decide to commit to this machine. Does anyone know how I would go about getting in contact with someone in my area regarding advice in purchasing/basic knowledge of slot machines? I have attempted to do a general search on slot machine technicians/repair, but haven't had much luck. Thanks you all for your knowledge and patience with me and my naiveness as far as slot machine inexperience!! I definitely appreciate it!!! :88-
