I just dragged home a 17" 3902 CRT style GK with 837 multi-denom in it. I do know there is another 59 game Base of M0000888 thats also 59 games. I just dont know what the differance is. they use the same GME's and PXL PROMS... Thanks! Kirk Title: Re: What is the differances in..... Base chip M0000840 this is a multi denomination game so it is possible to program all 59 games to play but only 12 games per denomination.

Seems it's NOT set for the $1200 W2G limit! I hit Lionfish for a 3140 coin win (was a 50 cent per game) and it didnt lock up! All the credits went to the total. THIS IS A PLUS!!! If your GK is running the 59 game M0000837 basechip, just swap it out for M0000888. The GME's are the same, no other changes needed. Like the others said, you will pick up a few differant poker themes (double diamonds). I think the '837 chip had a 3000 limit on bills. '888 has a limit of 2000000. Also max coin bet is 891 on most of the games (you can bet like a high roller) Just thought I would share this :) Kirk |
