Title: Calibration for the DBV-200
Post by: quasimodem on January 27, 2010, 05:05:50 PM
I think my dbv-200 in an IGT S+ needs calibrated, it will take bills once out of 100 tries, some it holds for a few (10) seconds before spitting it back out, some it rejects immediately. If I put the bottom of the bill towards the machine (head on president towards handle) it rejects them always, and within 1-2 seconds and yes, I have ironed my bills, bent them so the face is higher than the edges, all the vending machine tricks 15 years in an office has taught me. so I was looking for a calibration kit at some of the vendors / ebay, etc, and couldn't find one. Is there something specific I should be looking for, or just 'dbv-200 calibration sheet' and i have the JCE

Thanks in Advance.

Did you try cleaning the optical bill sensors with some Q-Tips and water?

not Q-tips but i read enough on here to use water and a 'lint free micro fiber cloth' and the same result.
