Title: Need help with SS3672 ID Post by: Magicslots on January 28, 2010, 06:33:17 PM I have a new SS3672 for my 3CM RWB WS, but I cant find any info on it in the "bible".
Could someone confirm this id and tell me where to find some paytable info please? :99- Title: Re: Need help with SS3672 ID Post by: stormrider on January 28, 2010, 06:52:31 PM This is what I come up with for 3672
ROYAL FLUSH SS Number 3672 Game type 0 Paytable 135A Machine type Return 95.24% Platform IGT S+ Game Specific Features Haywire no Bonus no Nudge no Wilds no Multiplier no Buy a Pay no SS # Game theme name Max. return % Hit frequency Stops Top Award 2nd award Win frequency SS4108 Royal Flush 98.019 % SS3672 Royal Flush 95.24 % SS3569 Royal Flush 95.17 % SS3570 Royal Flush 92.52 % SS3571 Royal Flush 90.181 % SS3956 Royal Flush 87.43 % SS3837 Royal Flush 85.35 % SS3957 Royal Flush 85.19 % SS3853 Royal Flush 80.076 % Title: Re: Need help with SS3672 ID Post by: Magicslots on January 28, 2010, 07:12:40 PM Hmmm, it game with a game kit for the RWB WS.
It says SS3672 RWB WS 3C Type 0 97.40% Maybe it is mislabeled ?? :103- I guess it should be a SS3918 I guess I will have to stick it in the machine for a check. Any idea the reel strip order for Royal Flush? I an just wondering how they compare to the RWB WS, maybe I can use the chip anyways :200- Title: Re: Need help with SS3672 ID Post by: jay on January 28, 2010, 07:16:14 PM If you read the chip into a Eprom burner the SS number is usually in clear text...... proof is in the pudding as they say the outside label is just for decoration :)
Title: Re: Need help with SS3672 ID Post by: stayouttadabunker on January 28, 2010, 07:21:02 PM You could run the reel strip tests and see if the chip matches the strips! :89-

Uhh, ain't got me one of them doo-dads just yet...maybe someday :5- I'll just stick it in the machine later today, and see what happens... :30- Title: Re: Need help with SS3672 ID Post by: jay on January 28, 2010, 07:39:50 PM Check out Ricks Faqs for instructions on how to get the chip numbers to display in the credit/winner windows.

Title: Re: Need help with SS3672 ID Post by: Magicslots on January 28, 2010, 08:10:43 PM Unless its an error... in the bible... SS3918 is shown to be a 3CM
SS3918 97.404 (96.896) 19.863 (64)ABC 2000/4000/10K (1) 400/800/1199 (7) 5.04 Title: Re: Need help with SS3672 ID Post by: stayouttadabunker on January 28, 2010, 08:13:11 PM For the Wild Star RWB you have,
I'd try and get the SS6437 chip! It pays out a yummy 28,000 Top Award and the 1,199 credits awards 34 times! The SS3671 chip, on the other hand, pays out the 10,000 jackpot only once and the 1,199 award only 7 times in about roughly 10 million pulls. :96- Title: Re: Need help with SS3672 ID Post by: stayouttadabunker on January 28, 2010, 08:17:10 PM Unless its an error... in the bible... I'm gonna go have a talk with them! :14- Title: Re: Need help with SS3672 ID Post by: Magicslots on January 28, 2010, 09:01:55 PM Chip is indeed a SS3918...checked it out in the machine.
I suppose the only way to see if it will work with the strips is to change them out!!! :127- Glad I didn't change out the glass yet! :107- Title: Re: Need help with SS3672 ID Post by: rickhunter on January 28, 2010, 09:03:51 PM Keep in mind that SS6437 is 128 stops per reel, thus the sample size is larger. The odds of hitting the 1199 award on the 6437 chip is 1 in 61,681. The odds of hitting the 1199 award on the similar payback chip with 64 stops (SS3670) is 1 in 37,449.
The odds of hitting the 28,000 coin jackpot is 1 in 1,048,576 The odds of hitting the 10,000 coin jackpot is 1 in 262,144. So if you play the 64 stop cihp, and let's say you play 262,144 x 3 to get 30,000 coins, is still less than the 1,048,576 pulls to get the 28,000. Yes, you can get lucky and hit the 28K on your first spin, but statistically speaking the 64 stop chip will pay out the equivalent top award more often. Title: Re: Need help with SS3672 ID Post by: stayouttadabunker on January 28, 2010, 09:14:53 PM Which one would be "more fun" to play?
Title: Re: Need help with SS3672 ID Post by: reho33 on January 28, 2010, 09:28:22 PM Which one would be "more fun" to play? Depends on the meaning of the word "is"........... :208- But I digress, it really boils down to what your definition of "fun" is I like my hits to be more spread out, some like more frequent hits. :89- Title: Re: Need help with SS3672 ID Post by: rickhunter on January 28, 2010, 09:30:45 PM They are both about the same in hit frequency 4.93 (64 stop chip) vs 5.31 (128 stop chip) spins per win.
If you want more volatile, then the 128 stop chip is for you. If you want more "hits" the 64 stop chip is for you. That Wurlitzer is a pretty game...I think Barry had one last year...
Looks like an old jukebox in a S+. Title: Re: Need help with SS3672 ID Post by: StatFreak on January 28, 2010, 11:57:28 PM For the Wild Star RWB you have, I'd try and get the SS6437 chip! A complete cycle is the number of virtual stops to the power of the number of reels. This would be 262,144 stops for a 64 stop game.
