Title: BALLY PRO VIDEO POKER - COIN REVERSED? Post by: FOXSSLOTS1 on January 28, 2010, 06:50:17 PM I know I have seen this error message before "COIN REVERSED - SEE ATTENDANT" thought it was listed here in NLG - can't find it - anyone? thanks
Title: Re: BALLY PRO VIDEO POKER - COIN REVERSED? Post by: jay on January 28, 2010, 07:14:23 PM From an IGT perspective.....Its a coin optic issue if that helps...... the message occurs when the coin reverses direction going past the abc optics. The check was put in to prevent stringing.
Sorry I can't be of any futher help as it specficially pertains to Bally. Jay Title: Re: BALLY PRO VIDEO POKER - COIN REVERSED? Post by: stayouttadabunker on January 28, 2010, 07:23:40 PM Now I'm only kidding when I say this...did you put the coin mechanism in upside down? :96-
Is there an "Error Code" number besides the writing? Title: Re: BALLY PRO VIDEO POKER - COIN REVERSED? Post by: FOXSSLOTS1 on January 28, 2010, 07:38:36 PM the bally pro video use cc62 coin comparitors - no optics.
Title: Re: BALLY PRO VIDEO POKER - COIN REVERSED? Post by: stayouttadabunker on January 28, 2010, 07:46:12 PM Something triggered a sensor of some sort to tell the machine that a coin went in backwards...
That's all I can think of...maybe closing the door will reset it it and the error will go away. If not, I'd try a partial clearing of the ram and see if the code goes away? Title: Re: BALLY PRO VIDEO POKER - COIN REVERSED? Post by: FOXSSLOTS1 on January 28, 2010, 07:59:13 PM this error and solution appeared somewhere - the error clears when door is opened/closed but I seem to feel it is the comparitor.
Title: Re: BALLY PRO VIDEO POKER - COIN REVERSED? Post by: blueridgeslots on January 28, 2010, 10:34:16 PM Adjust the slide at the bottom of the mech, just a bit wider than the coin to pass, not much more
Title: Re: BALLY PRO VIDEO POKER - COIN REVERSED? Post by: daddy2yea on January 28, 2010, 11:03:26 PM I had the same problem on my GameMaker, and just like blueridge said adjusting the slide at the bottom fixed the problem. In my case I believe the coin would bounce just enough to trigger the COIN REVERSED - SEE ATTENDANT error. Mike

The CC62 has optics built into the comparator - http://www.slottechforum.com/slotinfo/Techstuff/CD5%20Assemblies/Coin%20Mechanisms/Coin%20mech%20CC-62/239.pdf Ian |
