Hi I have a queston. I am changing the game from Wild Rose 3 coin with 3 reels  to a Bonus Frenzy 3 coin with 4 reels. Do I have to change the sound program that is on this machine to match the Frenzy game. Any help would be great.

In order to get the sound for that game you do.

The game will work without the sound chip but won't be as much fun.

Any idea what sound chip I need. I do have a Bonus Frenzy with quick hits in it. Will that chip be the same.

The quick hits game has a progressive on it but was taken off from the casino. Now when you play the game it wont take the fourth coin for the quick hit. It will only play 3 coin's. Any idea what will help.

Sounds like the chips are incorrect.  Post a pic of the award glass and the part number on the bottom edge.

 Hi this is the pay glass. The number on the bottom is C693-C0295 12 M . I have included pictures of glass and reels and eproms.

The chips in your machine aren't for that top glass, they are for Bonus Frenzy.  Do the reel strips match the glass or the chips?

The reel strips match the glass and on the bottom of the reel strips the number matches the U 20 and U18. The mains must be differant.

The mains wont make the difference.  The 4th reel strip has Quick hit symbols??  The number written on the bottom of the reel frame aren't always accurate.

 Hi the 4 Th reel strip has the quick hits on them. The machine will only take 3 coins not the 4 that it says must be played to win on the 4 Th reel. When you play max coins it only plays 3. That is why I think it has to have the progressive unit in the machine. Am I right.

Do you have a newer sound board and do you know the number of the sound chip. I need a sound board for this game.

No the Progressive wouldn't stop it from accepting the 4th coin, you need the correct personality chips to match the game.  The SMI 9042 personality chips that are in it, are for a 3 reel machine, you need one of the following :

Or you could always put in bonus Frenzy glass and strips.

What is the  number is the personalty chip. U18 or U20 or U43 or u 28.

these are the chips in the machine.

You should turn off the flash...it's way too much white... :96-
Can't see the top one at all...even when zoomed in.

The personality chips reside in U18 and U20, yours are 9042 currently.
