Title: IGame clear chips Post by: cruisepl on January 31, 2010, 12:34:11 AM Is the 22chip supposed to work on all the IGames? I recently had to use it on my Dragon's Gold with no problems. I decided that while I had the chip out I would change denominations on my Cops and Donuts but it didnt work. I thought maybe the chip was not seated right so I tried a second time but the machine does not enter the keychip menu. I had some problems a while back with a S2000 Bucks Ahoy and think it took about 6 tries for the 22 to finally work. Have I got a bad 22 chip or is that a common problem ?
Title: Re: IGame clear chips Post by: Bettor Slots on January 31, 2010, 01:40:10 AM Key 22 is the correct chip for Cops and Donuts. Your chip could have some corruption although that would be unusual. Check the legs for any damage.
Key 22 is NOT the correct chip for Bucks Ahoy Reel Touch. You should be using a Key 17 or a Key 45. This is why we all need a Key-17/Key-22/Key-31/Key-45 and a 0097 at the very least in your "Arsonal" of chips/software :) Most 502/504 3801/3902 series MPU's are the "usual" butn ow and then you get a weird one.... Kirk Good to know Jim. I must have given up on the 22 after a few tries and used my 17 in Bucks since I do not have a 45. I'll look at my 22 closer and try it in Cops again. You and Kirk have me thinking now what machines are the 31 and 0097 used in ? Whats the difference between the 17 and 45 ? Also realize this is the wrong spot for this but while we are talking clear chips which ones does WMS use? I have a 440C for my Dotmation machines and a 2279 for my 550, never had to use these so are these correct? What chip does the bluebird use or for those who have put a bluebird game in a 550 cabinet what clear chip is in your "Arsonal" for that machine ?
