Isn't that the spin sound consisting of spaceships and laser guns? Title: Re: Which Slot Machine makes this sound? Post by: Tilt on January 31, 2010, 02:38:12 PM I think it's a Universal machine, but not sure of the model.
Title: Re: Which Slot Machine makes this sound? Post by: uniman on January 31, 2010, 03:54:55 PM Now this is a good question!
If you listen it is coins hitting the tray with computer generated music. How many of you think this is a Universal slot sound??? Title: Re: Which Slot Machine makes this sound? Post by: daddy2yea on February 01, 2010, 01:28:53 AM I have Hoyle Casino on my computer and thats the exact sound their slots make. Mike
Title: Re: Which Slot Machine makes this sound? Post by: uniman on February 01, 2010, 01:30:08 AM Figured no one would respond to that question.
I do That sound is heard on casino TV commercials along with IGT machines hitting the jackpot in test mode. (reels spinning backwards) Always cracks me up. :72- :72- edited after we have a winner! Title: Re: Which Slot Machine makes this sound? Post by: uniman on February 01, 2010, 01:56:31 AM Universal payout sounds from 0822 chip;

Title: Re: Which Slot Machine makes this sound? Post by: stayouttadabunker on February 01, 2010, 02:27:14 AM I'm not kidding guys,
I will take a video of the Sigma "Treasure Tunnel Free Play" machine tomorrow morning... I could swear that the 2nd sound is identical! You think Sigma "stole" that sound from Universal? Title: Re: Which Slot Machine makes this sound? Post by: uniman on February 01, 2010, 02:32:53 AM Not just Sigma, I think every pc slot game has that sound. Universal has no copywrite labels (unlike IGT) on any of their early chips.
Title: Re: Which Slot Machine makes this sound? Post by: StatFreak on February 01, 2010, 04:47:09 AM I deliberately stayed out of this because I knew that these were Uni sounds with 100% certainty. These sounds are the main reason that I want a Uni. I played these machines a lot in Reno back in the day and have lots of memories of them.
There is another, lower-pitched sound for larger wins. I've only heard that one once or twice. :96- It might be that last sound in your video, Uniman, but I remember it as being a bit lower in pitch. :103- I'm glad that I didn't have to dispute Uniman on this one! :159- Whew! :208- :208- K+ for posting the video. Title: Re: Which Slot Machine makes this sound? Post by: stayouttadabunker on February 01, 2010, 01:33:43 PM I did not know that the Sigma "Treasure Tunnel" had nearly 50 different sounds.
Sound "[49][50]" was the one I thought that Uniman put up :5- It's close but not it... :72- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0TNV5e0FveE (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0TNV5e0FveE) Title: Re: Which Slot Machine makes this sound? Post by: StatFreak on February 01, 2010, 02:18:29 PM The Sigma folks really like Scott Joplin. :89-
Thanks for the video. Some of those sounds are very cool. :3- Title: Re: Which Slot Machine makes this sound? Post by: sgtvan on March 11, 2010, 06:45:20 AM Ha. That is my cell phone ringer, except it starts with the sound of three coins dropping and the reels spinning. Good times.
Title: Re: Which Slot Machine makes this sound? Post by: Foster on March 11, 2010, 06:56:53 AM I have been trying to figure out which IGT S2000 handpay I heard on a Ten Times Pay at Colorado Central Station Casino when they had a bank of 10 or so machines.
I believe it is a march song and may be used by the military. I heard it in 2001. I do know it is not DSV 42 Title: Re: Which Slot Machine makes this sound? Title: Re: Which Slot Machine makes this sound? Post by: StatFreak on March 11, 2010, 05:51:05 PM My Bally 5500 4-reel Proslot plays three tunes in succession when a jackpot it hit:
We're in the Money The Entertainer (Joplin) California Here I Come My GameMaker only plays "We're in the Money", and I haven't figured out a way to change it so far. The sound on this slot is clipped and distorted, even when the volume is turned down. It's not the video recorder. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zAwoaJ-V1ho (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zAwoaJ-V1ho) |
