Check the coin comparitor and make sure there is a nickel behind the slide not a token. If there is a nickel there try replacing it with another coin and try again

With a small screwdriver, turn the sensitivity adjuster on the
coin comparitor clock-wise then turn back clock-wise a 1/4 turn.
There's a pair of wires coming out of the top of the coin comparitor...
are they green or gray?

Sounds like coin in/out is disabled. BV/Printer only. You'll need a KEY chip to change this

They may only need to adjust hopper limit.
If it is set to $0.00 it will not accept coins.
if using quarter denomination set to something like $50.00 to $100.00 thats 200 to 400 quarters before hand pay or ticket payout.

For Example (from my S2000)
3.1.4 Limits
    Hopper $300.00
3.1.11.1  Split pay - Enabled.
3.1.11.2 Coin Pay Limit ($) 300.00
note hopper and split pay limit match. I forgot what happens when they do not match but I didnt like it.

That's really good information,  :89-  I have been setting my hopper limit to zero to always have hand pay.
Don't have to worry about having a working hopper, or a ticket printer out of paper...
I'll have to try putting in a coin just to test this new information out..

thanks...  :244-
